Absent-minded Airhead

Well, wouldn't ya know it, I put my camera in that spot where I'd be sure to find it again, and I forgot to tell myself where that was. I think I left it at my parents house this last weekend, but anyway, I am thus prevented from posting another curtain countdown this month. Hopefully next month I'll be able to have my camera again and be able to blog pictures.

Well, this last weekend was Western Fest in Granite Falls and so we decided to go to the parade. Kevin thought it was great... until the fire trucks and ambulances and other big rigs decided to show off their bells and whistles. Then he didn't think it was so fun any more, but for the most part he enjoyed seeing so many interesting things go by. He even got a piece of candy thrown in his lap! Seth and Tammie and I went to the rodeo that evening, which was interesting to watch. After the rodeo we proceeded on to the fireworks which were rained out after the first few went off. We rushed back to the Yukon and headed home, thankful for the fun time we were able to share, and also thankful to be back inside our cozy house.

Kevin and I tagged along with Seth all the way up to Bemidji and then to St. Cloud for a couple of weeks. We had a good time being able to be all together. Kevin and I got to watch from the service truck for a while. I thought I'd make Seth happy by helping Kevin get acquainted with the steering wheel.
