Pals at Play

Kevin and Makayla were being so goofy yesterday. Makayla loves to laugh at Kevin when he is being silly. Just recently Makayla started to undertake crawling. She is still rather hesitant about it, but she will do it when she wants something badly enough. Don't mind the coughing. We have all three been going at it lately and are hopefully about done with it.

Comfort in a Candle

So cozy!

Sophisticatedly Silly

"Skip Mr. Potato Head. I'll wear them!"

Springtime Sweetness

The nice weather simply called for dressing up my little Sweetie in Spring colors. Her hair is starting to come back so I can do pigtails again (Forgive me, Luke. I couln't resist. Besides, the bows somewhat hide the "horny" look.).

Sunshine Shadows

The morning light peeking through my windows.

Mama Moments

Makayla has been trying out her chair and finds it to be a nice new place to play. Kevin and I played Mr. Potato Head last night. I'm the one on the left and Kevin is the one on the right. When Mr. Potato Head is put together the way he is supposed to be with the mustache and everything, Kevin says it's Grandpa Streblow.

Smiley Stickers

As I was posting the last post, Kevin decided it would be so fun to "sticker" me. What a goof ball!

Tiny Thumbs

Looks like I have a thumb sucker. I hear it's a hard habit to break, but it is oh-so-cute!

Sticky Snacks

I'm not quite sure why he likes the hat so much, but he really enjoys it for some reason. We made rice krispie bars and I let him clean out the bowl. He thought that was SO great!

Girlie Glances

Toddler of Two

November 4th was Kevin's birthday. He is now two, going on five! What a little smarty he is becoming. It is amazing to watch our little boy grow and develop. His favorite things in the whole world are trucks and loaders, and he always wants to know what his papa is doing - "Goin in da truck? Goin in da grinder? Goin da shop? Goin in da loader?" We took him to the store so that he could pick out a present, and of course he picked a bulldozer to go with the backhoe from his Aunt Tammie. Papa opened it up and as you can see from the first picture, Kevin was thrilled! Kevin has been such a joy. Every day is a little bit brighter because of him. My heart overflows with love for him and thankfulness to my great God for giving us the privilege of raising Kevin Charles Streblow

Business Boost

Seth brought home this magazine for me to see. I must say I was pretty impressed. Their name is certainly starting to get out there.

Craft Corner

Kevin needed a sweater for Sundays so I tried my hand at making him one.
Our very lovely victorian lamp shade with beautiful glass beaded dangly fringe was broken by a small someone in our house. It's not as pretty as it use to be, but it is better than having a "spare oom" lamp. My first time trying to sugar starch. It works great!

Whistles are Wonderful

Makayla is very impressed by whistles. She lights up when she hears them with her best smiles- especially when Seth whistles for her. I now find myself whistling a lot more throughout the day without even thinking about it. Oh, the affects children have on us!
