" Marvelous grace of our loving Lord, Grace that exceeds our sin and our guilt!... Grace, grace, God's grace, Grace that is greater than all our sin!" This is the song that was chiming from the church bells across from the hospital on Sunday morning - a week after Kevin was born on the day that we were able to bring our little son home. Stepping outside of Sanford Hospital after a week of uncertainty and hearing that song was such a reminder to us of how gracious God has been to us. Kevin is definitely a gift that we don't deserve and -an added blessing- he is a healthy boy too. We praise God for preserving little Kevin and for bringing him through his first week of life safely. Thank you to all of you who have remembered us in your prayers. What a joy to be a family of three now!For those of you who did not hear, Kevin was air lifted to Sioux Falls the day he was born due to an abnormal heartbeat. There was not much of a concern because babies will normally out grow that, but while being tested they found a possible infection in his blood and wanted to keep him for a week to administer antibiotics. Seth and I went down to meet up with him that afternoon and spent the week there with him. It is good to be back home! Kevin is doing great!

Charity! I have been dying to see pictures of this little boy! I'm so glad you're finally home and able to post some! What a cutie he is!!! And you make a beautiful mother! :) We were praying for you all this past week. I am so glad for how God sustained you through all that happened...I am sure you were so tired and ready to get home with your boys! Love you!
Congratulations Charity on your precious little gift! I can't wait to meet him at the wedding!!! What a blessing to be home finally. I hope you are doing well and enjoying the marvel of God's youngest creatures. Love you, Beth
O Charity! I am so thankful for God's great gift to you both! Kevin is a very cute baby boy!!! I had tears in my eyes as I looked down through your pictures and read your post - just so happy for you and Seth and overwhelmed with how wonderful these moments are for you 3! I love you so much!!! (still praying, too!!!)
Oh God is so Good! I love you guys! Take care of your little bundle of blessing. God is faithful. I am thrilled to be aunt Doh-Doh! :-)
Oh Charity!!! He is beautiful!!! Yes, even if he is a boy. What a blessing! I have to agree with Julie, I had tears in my eyes too while looking at the precious gift God has given you. I'm so glad that you are now home, still praying for you as you adjust to being at home for one after busy summer and adding a new little person to the equation. Can't wait to see you!
Charity! He's so beautiful! Praise the Lord he's doing better. I'm so glad you are home adjusting rather then sitting in a hospital. You guys look so wonderful in your family picture!!
