Makayla Katherine Streblow was born July 26, 2009 at 8:39 am. She was 7lbs 6oz, and 19 1/2in. long. We are so greatful that everything went well. We headed to the hospital at 4:00 a.m. and were able to leave by 4:30 p.m. that afternoon. It was so nice to bring Makayla home and to be able to sleep in our own bed. She has been such a joy already. Her newborn cry, her head of dark hair, her button nose, ... everything about her is so endearing. Kevin has taken quite a liking to her as well. He will frequently go up to her and give her hugs and kisses and pat her hair so gently. I think he will be a good big brother. Thank you, Father, for this new little charge you have placed in our care! May we raise her to bring you glory in all things.
