Well, there you have it - a picture of my two babies;o) For some reason blogging has been a bit low on the priority list as of late. The days seem to clip by, and I seem to get sleepier the faster they go. I've been feeling really well otherwise. Despite sleepiness and much yawning, I still have somehow managed to get housework done - I think if I stay moving I don't get quite as sleepy. Yesterday I even dusted everything (which for me is really good because dusting is always the last thing - mostly because it is my least favorite thing to do). Seth and I were talking about "deep" things a few days ago and he was so good to bring up something along the lines of not looking at life and circumstances as being the victim (it was something like that), which is easy to do, but to have the discipline to do what needs to be done. In playing the victim, the end result is laziness due to selfishness. It was so good for me to hear that challenge.

Fun with Friends and Frosting
Pictures compliments of Katie Siefkes
Our friends came up to help in the shop again, so Katie and I decided to make some sugar cookies. You can see more on her blog too. We've been having a very enjoyable time.
Bright n' Bubbly
This used to be my laundry room/Kevin's room. Now Kevin has his own little place. I decided that decorating in "bubbles" could still make for a happy laundry room, and they would still be so cheerful for a child's room. It used to be a plain white room that was very crammed with stuff, and now it is just the right size for a little boy (or another little one if need be;) Don't you just love how the bubbles spill out of the window? They definitely make me very happy. My friend is here and she says that the bubbles just make her want to giggle! Me too!

Kevin in the Kitchen
This is our new resident cheff. Kevin loves to watch me cook. Today we had chicken enchiladas on the menu, so I thought that Kevin would enjoy making those with me. He actually did quite well for being a little over one ~ stirring the chicken with a gentle tap-tap-tap. Then we went on to stirring the filling. He thought that it was so much fun - especially when he dunked an empty spice container right into it;o) Someday he will be a very good helper.

Bitty Baby
Perhaps you all would like an update on how Little Baby Streblow is doing these days? Well, I have now definitely been starting to feel our little one move around inside. That makes it seem so much more real to me now. I'm sure that has to be the biggest blessing of pregnancy (aside from the end result, of course). My tummy is getting bigger and my clothes are getting smaller. As far as doing tummy tallies... well... we'll see. Baby Streblow is working so hard to get big. And to think I should have a baby the size of a small pumpkin inside of me by July! Perhaps it is just hormones, but thinking that way really makes me dread how fat I'm going to be. Not a pumpkin- a baby! We are waiting to go to the doctor until the date gets closer. I'm still trying to figure out if I want to be surprised with this one or if we should find out the gender. Seth doesn't have a preference and has left it up to me. After having Kevin and knowing he was a boy, I'm leaning towards seeing what it's like to be surprised. The question is will I be patient enough. It was so neat being able to know our baby by name before he was born, and to be able to prepare for his arrival. All in due time (ha! I didn't even get my own joke!).

Telephone Tag
Kevin and I had a fun time playing together yesterday. He has two little phones that you can pull around by a string and make their eyes go up and down, and I was chasing him around the house with them. He finally decided that he wanted to try too so I gave him one. He finally figured out how to pull it without making it flip so much. For some reason I still had to chase him though;o)
Make-shift McDonald's
So, Seth had to be away last night and tonight so rather than getting all gloomy, I decided to eat out in. If a pregnant lady truly does have cravings (which sometimes I wonder if it is just an excuse to eat whatever sounds good) greasy fast food has been mine. I know - terrible! Normally when it is just Kevin and I, the idea of making a big nice meal seems a bit silly, but tonight seemed special. So I cut up some potato, whipped up a hamburger, and got out all the fixings. I even took the extra effort of dicing the onions super tiny like they do on McDonald's cheesburgers. Ha! I just read all that I just wrote. Anyway... the Coke is in the picture for effect. I just had juice. Kevin helped me gobble down the french fries. All in all, it was a yummy experience.
